The owner of the company  Cloud is running for the Minnesota House of Representatives

A company entrepreneur from St. Cloud is running for the Minnesota Legislature. Aaron Henning, co-owner of Val’s Hamburgers in East St. Cloud, is running for the Minnesota House of Representatives in District 14B.

“Inflation, rising gas prices, and soaring energy bills are plaguing St. Cloud citizens, concerns exacerbated in part by our incumbent representative’s votes,” Henning stated. “As a small company owner, I’ve witnessed directly how increasing taxes, lousy energy policies, and government requirements harm our economy and make it difficult for Minnesotans to make ends meet.

The Republican Party has endorsed Henning. This autumn, he will oppose incumbent Democrat Representative Dan Wolgamott. Wolgamott is currently serving his second term as mayor.

As your next State Representative, I’ll support major tax cuts for Minnesotans with our record-setting surplus, I’ll have the backs of our law enforcement officers, and I’ll work to reduce energy costs. ”

District 14B includes the north, west, and east sides of St. Cloud and Minden Township.

Henning says he was born and raised in St. Petersburg. Cloud and is a third-generation small business owner. Henning co-owns Val’s Hamburgers with his brother. Val’s Hamburgers opened on Labor Day 1959. Aaron graduated from St. Cloud State University in 2016.
