Google Play’s list of supported devices shows the Vivo X Fold+; It is likely to be launched soon

News Tech: The Vivo X Fold+ is on Google Play’s list of supported devices, suggesting a launch is imminent. The listing doesn’t hint at specs for the rumored handset, but it does seem to confirm the X Fold+ moniker. It is said to have a 4,700mAh battery and support 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.

The updated Google Play compatible device list now lists the Vivo X Fold+ with model number V2229A. The listing suggests that Vivo could announce a foldable phone soon. Google Play’s list of supported devices does not include future handset specifications. However, the listing confirms the Vivo X Fold+ moniker, which has yet to be officially announced. The phone was previously rumored to launch as the Vivo X Fold S. Tipsters recently claimed it would debut as the Vivo X Fold+.

It is said to be an improved version of the Vivo X Fold announced in China in April this year. The Vivo X Fold+ was previously spotted in his 3C database in China under model number V2229A, matching the entry on the Google Play compatible devices list.
