Swiggy-owned Supr Daily has shut down five cities

“We’ve grown Supr Daily to fulfill 200,000 daily orders across six cities in the last four years, and we’ve carved out a place for ourselves by meeting a critical consumer need. While we have become an inextricable part of our customers’ life, we have yet to provide a clear route to profitability.”

In a blog post on Tuesday, the company wrote, “Supr Daily will halt operations in Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, and Chennai.” “We will continue to service Bangalore (Bengaluru) users,” it said.

“The restructuring has an impact on employees operating in these 5 cities and some corporate employees as we right-size the organization to be in line with our scale & stage. I’m glad to inform you that we’ve identified relevant roles for a significant majority of the employees within the open requisitions across the broader organization and expect to place the rest over the next few weeks,” Mr Addepalli added.
