News Sports: The Pittsburgh Steelers had two players injured late in the season as safety Carl Joseph suffered an ankle injury and wide receiver Anthony Miller suffered a shoulder injury. Both players are out for the season after being placed on the injured reserve by the Steelers on Tuesday.
Joseph’s injury occurred during his preseason game against the Seattle Seahawks. Joseph collapsed in the first quarter and was carried off the field with an air cast on his ankle. The 28-year-old man was then seen wearing his boots hiking on crutches. Joseph joined the Steelers after training camp last season and was looking to secure the second safety spot this year.
Miller injured his shoulder in training camp before Pittsburgh’s first preseason game. There is none.
