In Science and Space: MyTN, Tennessee’s mobile app that connects citizens to state services, was recognised in the annual awards given by the Center for Digital Government.
The Customer-Focused Government Division and Strategic Technology Solutions of the Department of Finance and Administration jointly produced the app. MyTN offers users a single point of access to an expanding range of governmental services. Additionally, it provides warning and notification systems to keep consumers informed.
When MyTN was first introduced three years ago, it made a significant advancement by enabling Tennesseans to obtain customised licence plates via the app.
The central technology division of Tennessee continues to receive praise for improving services for citizens. In today’s fast-paced technological climate, the division is working diligently to keep up with offering the most recent technology solutions to the state, according to Commissioner Jim Bryson. Working with folks that are dedicated to excellence in whatever they do for Tennessee is wonderful.
For state agencies and commissions, STS acts as the central information technology service bureau, providing strategy, resources, execution, and coordination for managing information system requirements.
