In Science and Space: Prime Minister Arvind Kejriwal said on Saturday that more than 40,000 people have made the pilgrimage so far, claiming Mukhyamantri Teerth Yatra Yojna. Kejriwal attended a ‘Sundark and Paath’ and its play organized by the Delhi government here in Kalibari, and said the Delhi government is offering free rides to the elderly to about 15 pilgrims under the programme. He used his Mukhyamantri Teerth Yatra Yojana established by his Kejriwal on 12 July 2019 to ask people to visit religious sites in the country.

We manage all the organization and to date he has over 40,000 people going on pilgrimage using this Tirth Yatra programme,” he added. Under the scheme, all of his seniors aged 60 and over in Delhi can self-register and each senior can travel with a younger companion, he said. “As a result, as many young people as the elderly have the opportunity to take advantage of this program, and we have set up on-board and on-site medical facilities for these journeys.

Under this scheme, the government provides seniors with free rides to around 15 pilgrimage sites, including Dwarka, Ayodhya, Haridwar Rishikesh, Mathura Vrindavan, Shirdi, Rameshwaram and Puri. “Delhi has a special His Tirth Yatra Yojana and the government allows free pilgrimage for the elderly. All food, lodging and transportation costs including AC trains and accommodation will be covered by the Delhi Government.

We encourage everyone to make the most of this program. Both the pilgrimage and the promotion of these journeys are of great value to all of us,” he added. Sunderkand was hosted by the RN Heritage Foundation and the Indian Revival Group. The dignitaries saw that all of Sunderkand represented the greatness of Lord Hanuman and Lord Ram. On that occasion, Kejriwal greeted all who had gathered for the celebration and said, “Lord Hanuman is known as ‘Sangkat Mochan Hanuman’ because he drives away all the troubles of the devotees.
