In Science and Space: NASA astronaut and US space camp curator Bob Hines is giving hope to kids from space – aboard the International Space Station, in fact.
The kids sat in the Discovery Theater, where they could ask Hines questions via a virtual link.
Hines spoke Monday with a group of students attending the Space Camp for Concerned Visually Impaired Students, or SCIVIS.
Hines and campers discussed a lot of different things, including what space is like, the things he loves to do, and what the future looks like for kids who may have disabilities but still want to. become an astronaut.
When Moorman was asked if he had hope for the future after speaking with Hines, he simply replied, “I do.”
