KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Kansas State used a season-high 29 points in the fourth quarter to down seventh-seeded Texas Tech, 75-65, on Thursday night in the first round of the 2021 Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship at Municipal Auditorium.
Since the Big 12 adjusted to a 10-team league in the 2011-12 season, K-State is just the fourth 10-seed to win the first round of the Big 12 Championship. K-State has advanced at least one round in 18 of the 24 Big 12 Championships.
