The outrage of watching a group of men trick an elderly woman into letting them into her home, so they could steal cash and jewelry, has a group of local businesses and citizens springing into action.
Vets Roll Organizer Mark Finnegan says donations of reward money are being collected through the Greater Beloit Area Crimestoppers.
Finnegan says the victim is a World War II Vet who previously went on a Vets Roll Trip.
Finnegan says he’s hoping $10,000 to $15,000 can be raised in order to motivate someone to come forward with information.
Donations check can be mailed to the Greater Beloit Area Crimestoppers with “Rosie” in the memo line.
