Horizon Forbidden West and Gran Turismo 7 will both be released for PlayStation 5 and PS4 within a few weeks of each other, and if you plan on installing both on your internal SSD when the time comes, the two games will take up a significant amount of space. According to PlayStation Game Size, the former is now tagged at 85.913GB for a US download, while the newer racing simulator is supposedly considerably bigger: 89.445GB.

Just like Aloy’s next adventure, the file size scrubbed from the PSN backend is before any day one patches have been applied to the application. The Twitter account in question isn’t always bang on with its estimations, but they’re generally in the right ballpark. And with the PS5 version falling just short of 90GB, Gran Turismo 7 on PS4 could well weigh in even larger. Sony’s Kraken compression system has reduced the size of many PS5 titles in the past. PlayStation Game Size also states pre-load will be available starting 25th February 2022 ahead of its PS5, PS4 release date of 4th March 2022.
