Google Pixel Watch could power the Exynos chipset from the past

The Google Pixel Watch is the company’s first smartwatch. During the two-day event, Google revealed that the first Pixel smartwatch will be released later this year. The smartwatch has been in development for some time, and most of the product’s specs have previously been leaked online.

Google Pixel Watch could power the Exynos chipset from the past

The Exynos 9110 chipset will power the smartphone. The Exynos 9110 chipset was released four years ago, for those who are unaware.

Although Google has officially announced the design of the Google Pixel Watch, it has not stated which processor it will use.

Previously it was rumoured that the Google Pixel Watch will pack a Exynos W920 chipset. If the latest report is true, it means that Google’s first smartwatch may lack in terms of performance when compared to the Google Pixel Watch 5 series that is rumoured to launch with Exynos W920 chipset.

When it comes to design, the Pixel Watch sports a circular design and features a “tactile” crown and side button. The watch is made of recycled stainless steel and will have swappable bands. As per Google, Pixel Watch will come with native Google apps including Google Maps, Google Assistant and more.

The upcoming Google smartwatch will run on an updated version of Wear OS 3. It will feature a Fitbit integration to help users keep track of their health metrics, including heart rate and sleep tracking.
