News Tech: Longtime restaurant industry journalist Lisa Jennings is now the executive editor of Restaurant Business.
She will also discuss fast-casual eateries, including chains like Chipotle Mexican Grill, Sweetgreen, and others, as well as a new wave of concepts that aim to upend the market with innovative menu options and technological advancements.
Jennings will take the lead in RB’s coverage of independent restaurants, sharing their experiences and outlining the potential and difficulties they face as they try to recover from the pandemic.

Jennings started her career as an intern for legendary White House journalist Helen Thomas, who covered 10 presidential administrations for UPI.
