News Tech: Business flexible office space Charlie Steel has been named the IWG’s new chief financial officer (CFO).
To “ensure a smooth handover,” Hughes will stay on with the company during a transitional phase.
Before the end of the year, he will join the board of the organisation formerly known as Regus and succeed Glyn Hughes, who left his position as head of finance to become CEO of a non-listed firm.
Steel joins IWG from Babylon, a digital health company focused on artificial intelligence, where he also served as CFO.
Steel added: “IWG is a fantastic business in a dynamic and exciting sector that is at the forefront of the rapidly evolving way we all live and work. I’m very excited to become CFO for the business and look forward to working with the board, management team and colleagues as we continue strengthening the position of the business and execute on the company strategy.”
