The iPod Touch will be available “while supplies last.”It further mentions that the iPod line is no longer necessary because many individuals currently listen to music on their iPhones.

With a press release titled “The music lives on,” Apple announced the end of the iPod line on Tuesday.

“The spirit of iPod continues on today.” In the release, Greg Joswiak, the company’s senior vice president of marketing, said, “We’ve integrated an incredible music experience across all of our products, from the iPhone to the Apple Watch to the HomePod mini, and across Mac, iPad, and Apple TV.”

The iPod originally arrived over 20 years ago back in 2001, and it quickly became Apple’s most popular consumer product. It also functioned as a precursor to the iPhone, which would eventually overshadow the iPod line.
