Hello everyone, in this article we will show you how Set a passcode on your Apple Watch. While it may sound like a useless feature at first, setting a passcode on your Apple Watch provides a higher level of security and also adds some useful features. Unlike an iPhone or iPad, you only have options for a numeric passcode on the Apple Watch because watchOS doesn’t support a native keyboard. However, you have the option to use a 4-digit or up to 10-digit passcode on Apple Watch.

The Apple Watch passcode works a little differently than the iPhone passcode. On an iPhone, you have to enter the code every time the screen turns off or use Face ID or Touch ID. However, it would be extremely annoying to have to enter a passcode on the Apple Watch every time you raise your wrist—no one would use the Apple Watch if that were the case. The Apple Watch passcode is only required when you restart your Apple Watch and when you take it off your wrist and put it back on. Therefore, this Apple Watch feature is an effective privacy measure and not so annoying that users don’t bother to set a passcode. Here’s how to set up a passcode on your Apple Watch. In this article, we will talk about setting a passcode on Apple Watch.
