How to Factory Reset Fitbit

Fitbit Sense

Step 1 : Swipe left on your Sense home screen until you find Settings icon. It will be a small piece of equipment. Tap to open it.

Step 2 : Scroll vertically until you find na O choice. Click on it.

Step 3 : Select Factory reset choice.

Fitbit Versa series

Step 1 : Swipe left from the smartwatch home screen until you find Settings (gear) icon. Click on it.

Step 2 : Scroll down and search O.

Step 3 : Tap on it to select Factory reset.

However, if the watch is unresponsive, you should perform a hard reset.

Step 1 : Hold all three buttons on your original Fitbit Versa for about 10 seconds until you see the Fitbit logo. Let go of the bottom right button, but hold the other two when this happens. A strong vibration should follow. This means that a factory reset has been performed and all your data has been erased.

Step 2 : The process is slightly different for the Versa 2, Versa 3 and Versa Lite as these smartwatches only have one button. Hold it until the device reboots. When you see the Fitbit logo, release the button for a second or two, then hold it again until you hear a long vibration indicating a factory reset.

Fitbit Charge 5 and Luxe

Step 1 : Swipe down from the home screen/clock view until you find Settings application. Click the icon to open it.

Step 2 : Swipe up until you reach Device information Menu. Tap to open it.

Step 3 : Swipe up once more until you reach Clear user data choice. Click on it.

Step 4 : Finally tap and hold Hold for 3 seconds button to start the process.

Fitbit Charge 4

Step 1 : Open Settings application.

Step 2 : Tap O.

Step 3 : Choose Factory reset or Clear user data.

Fitbit Inspire 2

Step 1 : Open Settings application.

Step 2 : Find and select Clear user data.

Step 3 : When prompted, hold the screen for three seconds and then release it.

Step 4 : Vibrate to notify that a factory reset has been performed.

Fitbit Ace 3 and Ace 2

Step 1 : Connect Fitbit Ace 2 to the charging cable and make sure it is plugged in.

Step 2 : Open Settings application and scroll until you find Clear user data choice. It won’t appear unless your Fitbit Ace 2 or Ace 3 is plugged in.

Step 3 : Tap it and press the screen for three seconds when prompted. The tracker vibrates to indicate that your child’s data has been erased.
