  • Right-click the drive you want to hide and select Change Drive Letter and Path.
  • Select the drive letter and click the Delete button.
  • Confirm by clicking Yes.
  • Right-click the drive again and select Change Drive Letter and Path.
  • Click the Add button.
  • Select Mount to the following empty NTFS folder.
  • Click Browse.
  • Navigate to the location where you want to create the mount point. For example C:.
  • Click the New Folder button.
  • Enter a descriptive name for the folder. For example secretDrive.
  • Select the newly created folder and click OK.
  • Click the OK button.
  • Open File Explorer (Windows key + I).
  • Navigate to the path you specified as the mount point.
  • Right-click the connection point and select Properties.
  • In the “Attributes” section, check the Hidden option.
  • Click Apply.

  • Press Windows key + X and select Disk Management.
  • Right-click the drive you want to hide and select Change Drive Letter and Path.
  • Select the connection point and click the Remove button.
  • Confirm by clicking Yes.
  • Right-click the drive again and select Change Drive Letter and Path.
  • Click the Add button.
  • Select Assign the following drive letter.
  • Select a new drive letter.
  • Click Apply.

Each unit has its own letter that uniquely identifies it. For example, the Windows installation drive has the drive letter “C”. From there, almost any application or user on your computer can see and access this drive if they have the necessary permissions. Generally, this is good because you or other users of your computer don’t have to do anything else to access the drive.
